Almost everyone who asks us about lifting asks the same question: Ultherapy, Thermage or Titanium — which one? All three are non-surgical tightening treatments, but they work at different depths and suit different concerns. Here is how we explain it in consultation.
Ultherapy (Ulthera Prime): works on the SMAS layer
Ultherapy delivers focused ultrasound to the SMAS layer that shapes the contour of the face. Real-time imaging lets us confirm the depth before treating. It suits people whose jawline, cheeks or the area below the cheekbones have started to sag and who want the contour drawn back up. Results build over two to three months.
Thermage FLX: works on the dermis
Thermage heats the dermis with radiofrequency to remodel collagen. It lifts the contour less directly than Ultherapy, but improves the skin itself more broadly — fine lines, pores and lax texture — and has a dedicated tip for the eye area. If your skin is starting to feel loose and thin overall, Thermage is usually the better fit.
Titanium: full-layer and immediate
Titanium fires three wavelengths at once, working from the surface to the deep layers together. Firmness and glow are visible right after the session, with little downtime. It suits people who want a quick result before an important event, or as maintenance between Ultherapy and Thermage sessions.
How to choose
In short: sagging contour — Ultherapy; lax skin texture — Thermage; speed and maintenance — Titanium. Many guests combine them, but whether to combine, and how many shots of each, is decided by a director after Meta Vu analysis and consultation.
